FictionAlley uploads are currently not working. :( We don't know when things will be functional again, either.

Not for the first time, damn it. (I was really looking forward to Ravenpuff's latest, quite apart from Inv.).

Best AQ yet
Hi all, some of you may know me as the 'dissecting reviewer'. I've finished reading AQatDR and I have to say it is the strongest book yet. Inverarity has really grown as a writer. If you enjoyed the other two AQ books, you'll love this one.

Dude, I love this story! You have me spellbound(pun totally intended)and wishing and waiting for more! I both hate you and love you for making me wait a week between each new chapter. Keep up the great work!

Good work!
What can I say? Good work, on par with many 'commercial' books, if not even better!

I just hope the girl is finally growing up, before she gets too repetitive (those that read 'legend of the seeker' probably found themselves yelling out loud at the stupidity of the main characters, let's hope miss Quick doesn't fall in the same trap :-))

Nevertheless, well written, I liked it!

This is a really really incredible series!
As a long time fanfic reader, I often find myself rolling my eyes at people who insist on writing stories about Original Characters. I love the characters JK Rowling created, and that's why I read- because I want more.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked on "Alexandra Quick and the Thorn Circle" and found a well-written, well-developed tale that managed to create it's own complex universe while seamlessly integrating into the Harry Potter world. I read all three installments in only a few days and am eagerly awaiting the next.
Inverarity should be congratulated on her wonderful work, and I hope she can continue to grow as a storyteller.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed Alexandra Quick.

You might want to check out my other story, Hogwarts Houses Divided, which has a lot of OCs, as a next-gen story, but also includes a lot of canon characters.

(Also, Inverarity is a "he.")

Amazing series
I came across this series because of the 4th book being posted on fan fiction.net

I must say I loved the second book more than any other. The first and third books were great too. I am yet to start reading the chapters of the fourth one.

However, I really don't like the fact that Anna betrays Alexandra in the third book. I have always liked the very good friendship that existed between Anna and Alexandra since early in the series, and I just can't believe that Anna would betray her friend like that, no matter the reason. And if she really is such a person who would betray her best friend, I can't see them as friends.

Re: Amazing series
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy the series.

Anna's betrayal was out of character for her, wasn't it? But remember, her father had been imprisoned, her mother was alone and helpless, and she was just a thirteen-year-old girl. She'd been put in an impossible situation; that's why Alexandra was able to understand and forgive her.

Re: Amazing series
Yeah, I suppose it does make sense when you put it that way, but it still seems too much out of character for someone like Anna. Anyways, it was still a great story, and thank you for dedicating so much time writing these books.
